Chase & Status – Generic Everything | Drum & Bass / Electronic

Chase & Status return with Generic Everything, a 10-track album bringing together Drum & Bass, rave, rap and soundsystem influences, with a heavyweight lineup of collaborators from across UK music and beyond.

Released October 9 via Warner Records, the album features J Hus and IRAH on opener “Disgruntled”, Little Simz on “Carnage”, Skrillex on “Essa Ta Quente”, plus appearances from Blanco, Finesse Kid, D Double E, Ledbyher, Debbie, Giggs and Col3trane.

Rather than sticking to one sound, Generic Everything moves between different scenes and styles while keeping the duo’s unmistakable electronic production at its core. From the rap-led collaborations to the more club-focused cuts, the project reflects Chase & Status’ continued appetite for experimentation and bringing different musical worlds together.

With a decade-spanning catalogue behind them and a fresh set of collaborators on board, Generic Everything is another statement from a duo who continue to push beyond a single genre.
