Word came through that reggae icon Johnny Osbourne was unexpectedly in town after a show cancellation - and the opportunity to jump into the studio together was too good to miss.
The result is a high-energy, modern Jungle reimagining built around fresh, re-sung vocals from one of dancehall’s most influential voices. Osbourne, whose classics include the global call-and-response anthem “Buddy Bye,” brings his unmistakable tone and timeless presence to the track, bridging past and future in a way only he can.
'Believe Me Now' is a powerful tribute to the late Tenor Fly, featuring a vocal he recorded with the Freestylers that brings his unmistakable presence back to life.
